Hi! Welcome to Beyond Four Paws, known affectionately as BFP! I'm Alexandra.

 

Never being able to find a well suited and exceptional services company with the highest standards of care, compassion and love for my own dogs (back in 2014), I decided it was time to create and rewrite the services industry with Beyond Four Paws.

 

I have an extensive knowledge of dog behavior, as I've work with hundreds of rescue dogs each year, while being a resource to many humane societies and rescues throughout Canada, with a few out of country too. I have quite an extensive medical background as I was studying to become a DVM (currently attending monthly veterinary continued education programs) and currently hold my Advanced Canine Nutrition Certificate (Cert. ACN) and my Diploma in Animal Behavior Science and Technology (Dip. ABST). I am one of the founders of Tails of The Misunderstood Canine Rescue Society, located in Calgary, dedicated to rescuing abandoned, surrendered and abused dogs. Advocating for all breeds and supporting responsible dog guardianship.

I have a couple family members who join me from time to time, to make sure our clients are taken care of, as we would take care of our own. On top of exceptional care of your pets, we also bring an abundance of Love, Respect, Compassion, Patience and Understanding to each and everyone of our clients. Just like humans, some pets come with traumas and we take the time to gain their trust and love; it's never expected.

 

Beyond Four Paws is based on the belief that our clients' needs are of the utmost importance. With that, we are committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals. Our clients (human and furry) become part of our extended family, and we wouldn't have it any other way!
